Alcohols

In chemistry, an alcohol is when a hydroxyl group (a pair of oxygen and hydrogen atoms) replaces a hydrocarbon hydrogen atom. Alcohols combine with other atoms to form secondary alcohols. These secondary alcohols are his three types of alcohol that people use on a daily basis: methanol, isopropanol, and ethanol.
