This is the original design SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) knife switch with brass contacts and steel screws. Traditionally it has been used in many vintage equipment but now is mainly used for education purpose.
This switch is also known as a three-way switch. It is used when you need to control one light bulb with two switches.
Not for high voltage applications. Recomended voltage range is 1 Volt up to 24 Volts. Max 10 Ampers.

Base size: L x W x H = 59 x 22 x 8 millimeters.
Each switch has three connection screws. To connect wires start by loosening the screw. Then form a loop of wire under the screw head and finally tighten the screw to hold the wire in place.
