How To Use Step 1: Open the plastic case and remove one pH Indicator Strip. Check that the strip is intact and not damaged. Review the included instructions and familiarize yourself with the color-coded pH chart.
Step 2: Prepare a representative sample of the solution you want to test (acidic or alkaline). Make sure the sample is clean and at room temperature.
Step 3: Dip the pH Indicator Strip into the sample solution for about 2–3 seconds, ensuring the test area of the strip is fully immersed. Avoid touching the strip’s test area with your fingers, as skin oils can interfere with accuracy.
Step 4: Remove the strip and gently shake off excess liquid. Hold it vertically and let any remaining drops run off for 10–15 seconds.
Step 5: Compare the color that develops on the strip to the provided color-coded chart. Match the strip’s color to the closest value on the chart to determine the pH level of your solution.
