Carnauba wax flakes are a hard, brittle, amber-colored wax that provides a lustrous gloss for various applications. This high-quality cosmetic and industrial grade wax is vegetable-derived and supplied in flake form. It is FDA-approved under Regulation 21 CFR 175.320 and CTFA listed. The wax is compatible with vegetable, animal, and mineral waxes, as well as natural and synthetic resins, fatty acids, glycerides, and hydrocarbons. It is insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol.
