Glass mercury thermometers are reliable high accuracy thermometers for general lab use, schools, and testing. Each thermometer is about 30 cm long and weighs about 24 grams. The yellow glaze in the back of thermometer makes it easier to read and more noticeable during a laboratory experiment. The end of each thermometer is glass ring so that you can use a string to hang thermometer at any height in your liquids. This is a partial immersion thermometer and the immersion line goes all the way around the thermometer. For maximum accuracy the thermometer must be inserted in the liquid up to the immersion line. Each thermometer comes with a red triangular rubber bumper to protect it during the transportation and prevent rolling on the laboratory table. Each thermometer also comes with a clear plastic case for safe keeping.
