(Dragon’s Breath, club moss spores, lycopodium seeds, vegetable sulfur, Lycopodium Clavatum ) Pale yellow, very lightweight fluffy powder.
Apparent Density: 0.6 g/ml - 0.68 g/ml
Used by magicians, squirted through an open flame, this fine powder creates a jet of fire just like a Dragon’s Breath.
It can also be used for dyeing; woolen cloth boiled with lycopodium, becomes blue when dipped in a bath of Brazil wood.
(If this grade of Lycopodium is out of stock, we will ship you a superior grade with lower density at no extra cost to you.)

This is great for a demonstration on fire and explosions at our science center. I just wish the prices for the product had gone up--but it is still a better deal here than elsewhere. Thanks for that.
The Science Kit Store was awesome, definitely recommend them! Ordered twice from them over a weekend. Order was packed, shipped and on its way by Monday afternoon! Here by Wednesday. Exactly as advertised. Packed well, items arrived in perfect order. Definitely happy with price, service and overall quality.
The dragon's breathe powder was not what I expected but I was not unsatisfied. After I few test runs I've concluded that if you are looking for the large FLASH cloud effect you need to toss a healthy tablespoon at he open flame from a safe distance. My only issue is that I wish I would have purchased more than three ounces. Also this chemical is stable so it's unlikely to be dangerous while being stored.
Exactly what I was looking for. It was a very quick and easy purchase process. My order was filled quickly and delivered quickly as well.
I have known about the healing properties of Lycopodium powder for over 35 years. It is a natural, effective remedy for poison ivy and other surface skin rash type problems. It has been known since the time of the Native populations in this country. I do not use it for any "flashing" effect in any way even though it was the first "flash" in the world of photography.
