Life size model of human heart on a stand is designed so that you can lift the front layer and see the internal structure of the hear including the four chambers and the valves.
This 2-part heart model on a stand demonstrates 11 major anatomical structures of the heart, all numbered on the model and listed on the base of the stand.
Structures indicated by numbers include: right ventricle, left ventricle, right atrium, left atrium,
superior vena cava and inferior vena cava that carry blood to the heart from other areas of the body.
Pulmonary artery (carries blood from heart to the lungs) and pulmonary vein (carries blood from lungs back to the heart).
aortic arch is the segment of the aorta that helps distribute blood to the head.
Some other sections include aortic arch, tricuspid valve, mitral valve.
This model heart can be removed from stand for hands-on learning. It can be opened to show interior view of heart while in your hand.
Made of light, durable, hard material. Measures 3" x 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" , hand painted by specialized artists to provide a realistic representation.
Suitable as an educational tool for middle school through college. Has delicate hand made components and must be handled with care.
