These bar magnets measure about 1/4" x 1/2" x 3" (72 x 12 x 6 mm). The magnets are made of Aluminum (8%), Nickel (14%), Cobalt (24%), copper (3%) and Iron (51%) which makes for a super strong and high quality magnet.

Bar Magnets
Great educational tools: to explain N and S poles you need these bar magnets. Hang one from a string and you have a compass. Throw in a globe and it's a lesson. Unlike rare earths, these ALNICOs are not a pinch hazard. Alnico can fracture if dropped.
