Product Description
This is a metal battery holder that holds one D cell battery. This battery holder has two Fahnstock clips for easy connection of any solid wires from 22 AWG up to 14 AWG. This battery holder does not have any specific direction for inserting the battery. You have a choice to decide which end you would want to be positive and may reverse it as needed.
Warning: To prevent battery from overheating and subsequent discharge, turn the Fahnstock clips upward so they are not touching the metal frame.
Provided with two screw holes at the bottom corners for attaching to a board or panel. The smooth flat bottom of this battery holder also makes it possible to mount it using double sided adhesive tapes. Any number of cells can be connected in series or parallel.
Accepts D size batteries and used as low-voltage power source in the science laboratory, kits etc. Snap-fit aluminum holder for 33mm diameter dry cells with Fahnstock clips on both sides for external connections.
