A successful garden depends on the right pH. Testing your soil is the best way to check that your garden has all the nutrients they need to grow. Most nutrients become unavailable to plants at high pH caused by adding lime or accidental spill of high pH detergents. Very low pH on the other hand is too acidic for most plants and can burn them. Low pH is usually caused by certain fertilizers or by some soil bacteria. A balanced pH for most plants is about 6.
This soil pH meter tests the pH of the soil so that you can determine which plants suit your soil pH and how you may alter soil pH to suit certain plants.
