    Ammonium chloride Treated is a white crystalline salt used in metal finishing, fluxing, electroplating and as a processing aid in metalworking and textiles.

    Ammonium Chloride, also known as Sal Ammoniac or Salmiak with formula NH4Cl comes in white-fine crystals; Soluble in water and glycerol; slightly soluble in alcohol.
    Ammonium chloride is used as a flux in preparing metals to be tin coated, galvanized or soldered. It works as a flux by cleaning the surface of workpieces by reacting with the metal oxides at the surface to form a volatile metal chloride.
    Ammonium chloride has many other applications as fertilizer, industries, in laboratories and many more.

    Ammonium chloride Treated is a white crystalline chemical, which is water-soluble salt.  Ammonium chloride Treated is used for zinc plating requiring electrolytic performance.  There are different anti-caking material to keep the material free flowing and this one has no impact on zinc plating. One has to be careful since some anti-caking agents interfere with the zinc electrolytic process. It also has different applications in the textile and leather industry in dyeing, tanning, textile printing, and to luster cotton.
    Ammonium Chloride Applications 
    Ammonium Chloride is an important technical salt. It has a diverse range of applications in industry, agriculture and medicine:
       
       
    • Used as a flux in metalwork, in preparation for tin coating, galvanization
      or soldering. It cleans the metal surface by reacting with metal oxides.
    • Used as an expectorant in cough medicine.
    • Used as a systemic acidifying agent in treatment of severe metabolic
      alkalosis and other conditions.
    • Used as a food additive E510 (e.g. flavouring in vodka and liquorice) and
      as a yeast nutrient in bread making.    		 • Used as a nitrogen source in fertilizers.
    • Used as an acidity regulator in animal feed. 
    • Ingredient in pyrotechnics and fireworks.
    • Used in the formulation of household and personal care products, such as
      shampoos, soaps and cosmetics.
    • Used in the production of dry-cell batteries as an electrolyte.
    • Additive for dyeing of textiles and the tanning of leather.
